Archer’s story

Archer is Barry Bull’s grandson and was born with seriously impaired hearing. What could be done to ensure our grandson’s future? The day that Archer received his Cochlear implants was the day his hearing, listening and speaking future began. He is now two and a half year old and his progress is amazing, not missing a moment of every day learning, and his social skills are simply endearing. Archer’s family are so grateful for the wonderful support Hear and Say provide, giving the gift of sound and speech to deaf children. To celebrate Archer’s remarkable story and to support the work that Hear and Say perform, Barry is hosting Loud Shirt Day, The Gift of Sound, an afternoon of words and music at The Function Room, Mooloolaba Surf Club, Sunshine Coast, Sunday August 27th. This will be an entertaining afternoon of true – life stories, great live music and inspiration.
